Julien Annoni grew up in Bévilard in the Bernese Jura. He graduated with distinction from Neuchâtel Conservatory (classes of Jacques Ditisheim, Louis-Alexandre Overney and Maxime Favrod), then from the Strasbourg Conservatory, with distinction and congratulations of the jury (class of Emmanuel Séjourné) and most recently, he graduated from the Haute Ecole d'Art of Bern (classes of Françoise Rivalland, Pierre Sublet). He has practiced for many years as a freelance musician. This lifestyle allows him to play in several contemporary music groups, such as chamber music ensembles with "We Spoke New Music Company," musical theater in "Mauricio, Dieter, Sylvano and others."
Julien Annoni is also percussionist of the Symphony Orchestra of Jura. He has recently toured with Kammerorchester Basel.
The life of a performing musician makes him travel regularly around the world. Active in his region, he is involved in several art projects for young people. He is in charge of the annual music camp organised by the association Coordination Jeune Public and a member of its committee. He teaches percussion at the Bernese Jura Music School, an institution in which he holds a position of assistant to the director
For seven years now, Julien Annoni has been working with Olivier Membrez. Together they have created the association USINESONORE and the festival of the same name, which, on the eve of its fourth edition, has already got a reputation that extends far beyond the borders of the Jura.
