Founded in 2005 by two young men from Bernese Jura, bothof them passionate about music and contemporary creations, the Association USINESONORE organizes events structured around contemporary music. It also stages various groups, and produces abroad tours, or co-productions with other organizations. The aim is primarily to allow greater access to contemporary artistic creation. USINESONORE events are of a professional nature and are known for their quality of interpretation and thoroughness of the organization. Though focused on percussion instruments, our activities are open to all instruments and other art forms (video, photography, dance, literature, ...)
Our main activity is the USINESONORE festival which takes place every two years and which, in its upcoming fourth edition, has already acquired a reputation extending far beyond the borders of the Jura.
This biennial rhythm allows us to look for external commitments, so that our creative effervescence does not remain confined to the region. These include concerts in Argentina (2006), tours in France and Switzerland (2009), a production in Portugal (2009), and a tour in the Jura (2011) which attracted considerable attention.
USINESONORE Association has won the grant for cultural mediation projects accorded by the Canton of Bern in 2011.
USINESONORE has a chance to use the premises of the Schaublin factory in Malleray Bévilard, which are ideally suited to the practice of percussion instruments.
